"Super Mario Sunshine" takes players on a sun-soaked adventure to the tropical paradise of Isle Delfino, where Mario, Princess Peach, and their Toad friends embark on a relaxing vacation. However, their plans are quickly derailed when a mysterious figure resembling Mario begins vandalizing the island with toxic goop, and Mario is accused of the crime!

Armed with a high-tech water cannon called FLUDD (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device), Mario sets out to clean up Isle Delfino, clear his name, and uncover the truth behind the imposter. Along the way, Mario encounters the mischievous Shadow Mario, who bears a striking resemblance to himself, and learns of the island's struggle against the pollution caused by the villainous Bowser Jr. and his paintbrush-shaped device, the Magic Paintbrush.

Players navigate through vibrant and diverse environments, from sunny beaches and bustling cities to mysterious ruins and lush jungles, using FLUDD's various nozzles to spray water, hover, and rocket around the island. With precise platforming and puzzle-solving, Mario collects Shine Sprites, the island's source of power, to restore light to Isle Delfino and dispel the toxic goop.

"Super Mario Sunshine" features a wide array of challenges and obstacles, including epic boss battles against Bowser Jr. and his monstrous creations, thrilling platforming sequences, and inventive levels that test players' skills and creativity.
