In this colorful adventure, Kirby and his friends embark on a journey to help a mysterious alien named Magolor repair his spaceship after it crash-lands on Planet Popstar.

The game begins when Kirby, along with Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Waddle Dee, discovers the crashed spaceship while out for a stroll. Magolor explains that the ship's parts have been scattered across various worlds, and he enlists Kirby and his friends to help retrieve them. Eager to assist, the group sets out on their quest across the diverse landscapes of Popstar.

Players guide Kirby and his friends through a series of vibrant levels, each filled with enemies, obstacles, and hidden secrets. Using Kirby's signature ability to inhale enemies and copy their powers, players can access a wide range of abilities, including fire, ice, sword, and more, to overcome challenges and defeat enemies.

Throughout the adventure, Kirby can team up with his friends in cooperative multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players to join in the fun. Players can choose to control Meta Knight, King Dedede, Waddle Dee, or additional Kirbys, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles.

As Kirby and his friends traverse through lush forests, icy tundras, fiery volcanoes, and other fantastical environments, they encounter powerful bosses guarding the missing ship parts. From towering giants to mechanized monstrosities, these bosses provide formidable challenges that test the players' skills and teamwork.

Once all the ship parts are collected, Kirby and his friends confront Magolor's true intentions, leading to an epic showdown against the alien villain. With determination and teamwork, they must defeat Magolor and save Planet Popstar from his nefarious plans.
