"House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return" is a compilation of two classic rail shooter games, "The House of the Dead 2" and "The House of the Dead 3", brought to the Nintendo Wii with enhanced controls and updated graphics.

In "The House of the Dead 2", players assume the roles of AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart, who are dispatched to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in Venice, Italy. They soon discover that the city is overrun by hordes of undead creatures created by the nefarious genetic experiments of the evil Goldman. As James and Gary make their way through the streets, sewers, and laboratories of Venice, they must battle through waves of zombies, mutants, and other monstrosities, uncovering the dark secrets behind Goldman's twisted plans.

"The House of the Dead 3" takes place several years later, as AMS agent Lisa Rogan sets out to uncover the truth behind her father's disappearance and the resurgence of the undead menace. Teaming up with fellow agent G, Lisa delves deep into the underground research facility of the DBR Corporation, where they encounter hordes of mutant experiments gone wrong. As they fight their way through the facility's corridors and laboratories, Lisa and G confront the deranged scientist responsible for the outbreak and the horrifying truth behind his experiments.

Both games feature fast-paced, on-rails gameplay, where players use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to aim and shoot at enemies on the screen. The Wii version introduces new controls that take advantage of the Wii's motion-sensing capabilities, providing a more immersive and intuitive shooting experience.

With its intense action, thrilling storylines, and immersive gameplay, "House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return" offers a nostalgic trip back to the golden age of arcade shooters, delivering a heart-pounding experience that will keep players on the edge of their seats as they battle the forces of the undead.
